Position Description
Busy, well-established privately owned pediatric practice in the North Phoenix area is seeking a part-time Nurse Practitioner to join our growing team, with a minimum of 1yr clinical experience in a pediatric setting. Candidate will be responsible for direct and indirect patient care. Responsible for performing evaluations and treatment protocols, well child care, newborn care as well as prescribing medications and generating referrals to specialists as needed. Competitive wages and benefits. This position may become a Full-Time opportunity in the future.
Requirements:
- Current & valid license to practice as a Nurse Practitioner in the State of Arizona
- Pediatric NP certification (PNP) preferred
- Experience in pediatric primary care preferred (new grads with strong pediatric background encouraged to apply)
- Strong clinical, communication, and teamwork skills
- Full prescription authority with current DEA license
- Evidence of current medical malpractice insurance
- Ability to work independently
- Bilingual preferred but not required
