Call for Podium Presentations

This year, AZ NAPNAP will partner with National NAPNAP to host a combined dermatology regional symposium on Friday, November 6th and 5th Annual Pediatric Symposium Saturday, November 7th. 

Submission through this application process will be for presentation on Saturday, November 7th only 

Deadline for submission is Sunday, June 21st, 2020.

Applications are sent to members of the Conference Planning Committee for blinded review and evaluation. Selections will be completed by Sunday, June 28th, 2020. All selected individuals will be contacted via e-mail.

Podium Presentation: 30-60 minutes

Presentation topics requested for the 5th Annual Pediatric Symposium

-Human trafficking/Sex trafficking

-Physical abuse

-Sexual abuse

-Refer or not to refer series (15 minute presentations x 4): Specialties

-Wellness (managing burnout, work-life balance)

-Professional development/Career starter

-Disaster planning or crisis management

-Vaccine refusal / update /travel

-Peds mental health

-Developmental peds/ADHD & meds

-Obesity

-Telehealth tips

-Pharm credits

-Headaches

-Newborn screen

-How to interpret clinical trials

-Contraception

-Cardiology & Syncope                          

Please submit a word document with the following:

1. Title
2. Abstract (maximum 500 words)
3. Objectives
4. Proposed time for presentation
5. Author information - include names, affiliated institutions, degrees, certifications and licensure (for all authors)
6. Author conflict of interest disclosures (for all authors)

Honorarium:

Individuals selected to present at the conference will receive complimentary one-day registration for 5th Annual Pediatric Symposium or Dermatology Regional Symposium.

In addition to the conference registration, an honorarium will be provided as follows:

15 minute presentation: $50

30 minute presentation: $100

60 minute presentation: $200
