Christina Maddaluna, DNP, CPNP

I have been working in pediatrics for over 15 years. Throughout my time, I was able to start my career as a certified nursing assistant and worked my way up to achieve a DNP degree as a pediatric nurse practitioner. The majority of my experience has been in the pediatric intensive care and pediatric emergency care acute care setting. The last three years, I have been working at Arizona State University helping develop their new Masters Entry Program in Nursing (MEPN).

Throughout my career I have had many wonderful colleagues and mentors who have supported me, and I am excited at the opportunity to give back to this community and give back what was given to me. By investing in the next generation of pediatric nurse practitioners, I hope to be a part of building long-term sustainable structures that keeps the profession evolving with the newest policies and technologies.

I am very grateful to be considered for this opportunity. This organization has helped me to grow as a professional within the field, and I am excited to be investing in future NPs. I pride myself on my attention to detail, which has translated throughout my career into diligent notes and documentation. As the secretary, I hope to help grow this position my make information more accessible to the entire organization.
